It embeds a lightweight Lottie/JSON animation — the vector animation format used across modern web and app design — with control over trigger, loop, speed, and renderer. ## Key Features - **3 sources** — a media library file, an external URL, or a directly uploaded JSON file. - **3 triggers** — Viewport (plays when scrolled into view), On Click, or On Hover. - **SVG or Canvas renderer** for compatibility and performance tuning. - **Loop, speed, and optional caption** below the animation. ## Adding the Module 1. Edit a page with the Divi Visual Builder. 2. Add a new module and search for **Lottie**. 3. Choose a Source (Media File, External URL, or Upload JSON File) and set the Trigger. ## Content Settings - **Source** — Media File, External URL, or Upload JSON File. - **Trigger** — Viewport, On Click, or On Hover. - **Loop / Play Speed (x).** - **Renderer** — SVG or Canvas. - **Caption** — None or Custom text below the animation. ## Design Settings - **Animation** — Alignment, Width, Max Width, Opacity. > **Where to find Lottie files** > Free, ready-made Lottie/JSON animations are widely available from public animation libraries — search for “Lottie animation” and download the .json file to upload. ## FAQ ### Does it work with Divi 5? Yes. Native Divi 5 module with full Divi 4 support — your license covers both. ### Will it slow down my page? Lottie files are typically a few KB to a few hundred KB — far lighter than an equivalent video file — and the Viewport trigger avoids playing off-screen animations. ### Where can I see it in action?
