# Divi Post Carousel

The **Divi Post Carousel** module, part of the **Divi Carousel PRO** plugin, formerly known as **Wow Carousel Pro**, allows you to display posts, pages, media items, or projects in a visually engaging carousel layout. It offers flexible content control and advanced design customization, making it easy to create interactive and professional content showcases within Divi.

## **Content**

This tab controls the layout style, post source, and query behavior of the carousel.

1. **Post Carousel Style** – Select one of the five predefined layout designs for displaying posts.
2. **Post Type** – Choose the content type to display: Posts, Pages, Media, or Projects.
3. **Included Categories** – Display posts only from selected categories.
4. **Order By** – Define how posts are ordered (Author, Date, ID, Parent, Random, Title).
5. **Sorted By** – Control the sorting order: Ascending or Descending.
6. **Post Limit** – Set the maximum number of posts shown in the carousel.
7. **Exclude Posts by IDs** – Exclude specific posts by entering their IDs.
8. **Post Offset** – Skip a specific number of posts before displaying results.

### **Elements**

This section allows you to enable or disable individual post elements inside each carousel item.

1. **Show Featured Image** – Displays the featured image of the post.
2. **Show Title** – Shows or hides the post title.
3. **Show Content** – Controls the visibility of post content or excerpt.
4. **Show Categories** – Displays assigned categories for each post.
5. **Show Single Category** – Displays only one category per post.
6. **Show Categories Separator Comma** – Separates multiple categories using commas.
7. **Show Author** – Displays the post author's name.
8. **Show Date** – Shows the post publish date.
9. **Show Date Over Image** – Displays the date as an overlay on the featured image.
10. **Show Comments Count** – Displays the number of comments.
11. **Show Read More** – Enables the Read More button or link.

### **Carousel Settings**

This toggle controls the global behavior and interaction of the testimonial carousel.

### **Carousel Settings → General Tab**

Defines animation, layout, and responsiveness for the carousel.

1. **Animation Speed** – Controls how fast slides transition.
2. **Autoplay** – Automatically rotates testimonial slides.
3. **Autoplay Speed** – Sets the delay between autoplay transitions.
4. **Navigation & Pagination** – Displays navigation arrows, pagination dots, both, or none.
5. **Use Fixed Width Slide** – Maintains a consistent slide width.
6. **Slides To Show** – Determines the number of testimonials visible per device (responsive setting).
7. **Slide Spacing** – Adjusts spacing between testimonial items.
8. **Apply Spacing on First & Last Items** – Adds spacing to edge slides.
9. **Infinite Looping** – Enables continuous looping of testimonials.

### **Carousel Settings → Advanced Tab**

Provides advanced interaction, animation, and performance options.

1. **Sliding Direction** – Controls slide direction, including RTL compatibility.
2. **Sliding CSS Transition** – Defines the easing effect for slide animations.
3. **Lazy Loading** – Loads testimonial content only when needed.
4. **Lazy Loading Type** – Choose between Progressive or On-demand loading.
5. **Auto Height** – Adjusts carousel height automatically based on content.
6. **Swipe** – Enables touch swipe navigation.
7. **Pause on Hover** – Pauses autoplay when the carousel is hovered.
8. **Items to Scroll** – Sets how many testimonials move per scroll action.
9. **Vertical Mode** – Displays testimonials in a vertical layout.
10. **Center Mode** – Highlights the center testimonial.
11. **Wait For Animate** – Prevents overlapping slide animations.
12. **Use Custom Cursor** – Enables a custom cursor effect.
13. **Wrapper Spacing Top** – Adds spacing above the carousel.
14. **Wrapper Spacing Bottom** – Adds spacing below the carousel.
15. **Open Image in Lightbox** – Opens testimonial images in a lightbox view.
16. **Equalize Item Height** – Ensures all testimonial items have equal height.

## **Design**

This tab allows you to control the visual appearance of the Wow Post Carousel and fine-tune how each element looks across devices.

### **General**

Controls the overall styling of carousel items, including background, alignment, and layout consistency.

### **Image**

Provides styling options for featured images such as sizing, border radius, and visual effects.

### **Overlay**

Allows you to customize overlay colors, opacity, and hover behavior applied to post images.

### **Content**

Manages spacing, alignment, and background styling for the content area inside each carousel item.

### **Texts**

Controls typography settings for post titles, excerpts, and other text elements.

### **Meta**

Styles post meta information such as date, categories, and comment count.

### **Author**

Customizes the appearance of the author name and related elements.

### **Button**

Controls the design of the Read More button, including colors, spacing, and hover effects.

### **Navigation**

Allows you to style carousel navigation arrows, including size, color, and hover states.

### **Pagination**

Customizes pagination dots, their size, spacing, and active states.

### **Sizing**

Controls width, height, and responsive sizing behavior of carousel elements.

### **Spacing**

Adjusts margin and padding between carousel elements.

### **Filters**

Applies visual filters such as blur, brightness, contrast, and grayscale effects.

### **Transform**

Adds transform effects like scale, rotate, or translate for interactive styling.

### **Animation**

Controls animation effects and transitions applied to carousel elements.
