Image Carousel

Photographs at a uniform crop, with arrows, dots and a lightbox. Slide Ratio holds every slide to 16:9 so mixed source images never stretch the track.

Module 02

Logo Carousel

A continuous strip for client and partner marks, pausing when a visitor hovers. Slide Width: Fit Content lets each mark keep its own width instead of dividing the track evenly.

Module 03

Card Carousel

Image, title, description and a button in one slide — the right shape for services, plans or feature highlights that need more room than a photograph.

Module 04

Content Carousel

The most open of the set — title, subtitle, body and an optional button per slide, with the image or icon placed wherever the layout needs it.

Module 05

Team Carousel

Photo, name, role and social links per member, in a layout built for a “meet the team” section rather than adapted into one.

Testimonial Carousel

Star ratings, a portrait and attribution, with equal height so the dots stay put as slides change. The quotes below are illustrative.

Post Carousel

Real posts from this site, newest first, in boxed cards with one category and a capped excerpt. Card Style is new in 4.2.0 — without it the slides have no surface at all.

Module 08

Dynamic Loop Carousel

Design one card out of ordinary Divi modules, drop {{title}}, {{image}} and {{excerpt}} into it, and every item in the source renders through it. Posts, any public post type, taxonomy terms, ACF fields and WooCommerce products all satisfy the same contract.

Quick Start presets

What a preset actually looks like

Open any carousel's settings and the first thing you see is a Quick Start group. One click writes a whole configuration — and everything it sets stays editable afterwards. There are 104 presets across the twelve modules. Below is the same set of four photographs through each of the eight that every module shares, so the only thing changing is the preset.

Right-to-left sliding for RTL languages. Press next — the track moves right, and the arrow order and keyboard order flip with it. This was cosmetic until 4.2.0. slidingDir rtl

Presets that carry design

Module-specific presets

Beyond the eight every module shares, some modules have presets of their own. Until 4.2.0 every preset was behavioural — slide counts and navigation. These ones set design too, which is how Post finally got a real card surface.

Controls the Divi 5 port had dropped

Divi 4 exposed 57 shared carousel fields; the first Divi 5 port exposed 38. These are the ones worth having back — plus one control neither generation ever had.

Slide Ratio — before

Mixed orientations at natural height

Two portraits among two landscapes, with no ratio set. A tall photograph stretches the whole track to its own height. This is the default, and it is why real carousels used to look broken. slideRatio natural

Applied as aspect-ratio plus object-fit: cover, so every slide is the same height whatever you feed it. Also available as 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 and 3:4. slideRatio 16-9

Easing, alignment, and per-device navigation

Three more Divi 4 controls, restored

A 900ms ease-in-out glide with the dots pushed right — drag a slide and let go to feel the easing. Navigation is also per-device now: arrows on desktop, dots on tablet, nothing on phone where swiping is the obvious gesture.
