Divi Video Popup

Video Popup is part of Divi Conkit Pro. It shows a poster image with a styled play button that launches YouTube, Vimeo, or a self-hosted MP4 in a lightbox modal — keeping the page light since the video player only loads on click.

Adding the Module

1. Edit a page with the Divi Visual Builder.
2. Add a new module and search for Video Popup.
3. Upload a poster Image, choose a Video Type, and paste the Video URL (or upload an MP4 file for Custom Upload).

Content Settings

• Image — the poster shown before the popup opens.
• Select Play Icon — 5 icon styles.
• Video Type — Youtube, Vimeo, or Custom Upload (Video MP4 File).
• Autoplay / Mute / Use Animated Icon.

Design Settings

• Icon — Color, Size, Opacity, Image Height.
• Popup — Popup Background, Close Icon Color, Animated Wave Color.

Mute autoplay
If you enable Autoplay for the popup video, also enable Mute — most browsers block unmuted autoplay, so an unmuted autoplay video simply won’t start on its own.

Does it work with Divi 5?

Yes. Native Divi 5 module with full Divi 4 support — your license covers both.

Does the video load before the visitor clicks?

No — only the poster image loads initially; the video player and its assets load when the popup opens, keeping the page fast.
