Divi Floating Image

Floating Image is part of Divi Conkit Pro. It layers a static background image with a foreground image that floats, rotates, or parallaxes on scroll — and can be cropped into one of 23 decorative mask shapes.

Key Features

  • 23 masking shapes for a non-rectangular foreground image.
  • Static background image layer, independent of the floating foreground.
  • Child module — add multiple floating images inside one Floating Image container, each with its own position and animation.
  • Configurable height for the whole layered composition.

Adding the Module

  1. Edit a page with the Divi Visual Builder.
  2. Add a new module and search for Floating Image.
  3. Add a static background image if desired, then add one or more Image child items inside it.

Content Settings

  • Add a static Image Background — toggle plus Static Image and Alt Text.
  • Height — overall composition height.
  • Select Shape for Masking — None or one of 23 shapes, applied per child image.

Design Settings

  • Background — sizing and position for the static background image.
  • Image (child) — per-image position, size, and float/parallax animation timing.

Layering tip
Use the static background image for a large context photo (e.g. a device mockup or scene), then add 2–3 small floating child images on top with different animation delays for a parallax “scattered photos” effect.

FAQ

Does it work with Divi 5?

Yes. Native Divi 5 module with full Divi 4 support — your license covers both.

Can I use my own custom mask shape?

The module ships 23 built-in shapes. For a fully custom silhouette, use the Image Masking module from the same plugin, which accepts an uploaded SVG mask.

Where can I see it in action?

Visit the Floating Image module page for a live overview and pricing.
